IF YOU ARE TOO GENTLE, YOU WILL END UP IN THE KETTLE

Are you always desiring to break-even with life and issues of life? Do you always want to play the ‘safe-game’ with life? Or maybe you are of the group of people who always avoid the offensive side of life, but will rather prefer to be seated in the defensive corner of life.
Well, permit me to be a little bit blunt with you. If you belong to any of the aforementioned groups, you are of the tribe of the most vulnerable people on this planet earth. I used to be on that side of life too;the defensive side, not until I realize that both sides of life are needed for a blissful and fulfilled life (i.e the offensive and the defensive side of life)

Your desire to break through the jinx and to reach for the fullness of your potentials will be revealed in you been radical, not in your gentility. Being radical is not evil, as long as it is for a just course and not noise making in violence.
According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, RADICAL means, “very new and different from the traditional or ordinary. This implies that for you to achieve the extraordinary, you need to be radical about the ordinary. Sometimes, if we become too gentle with certain life circumstances, we might just end up in a kettle; being defeated by situations which were designed for our promotion.

“He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” – Matthew 10:39 (NKJV)

In the same vein, those who give up their life in selfless sacrifice for humanity and in the quest for impact, ends up having their life back even with dividend. The reverse is the case for those who wants to play safe with life, by holding tight to everything they had. The fear of not losing what you have, will eventually make you lose all.

Actually, it is either you are winning or losing in the race of life, there is no middle point.
I may not be certain of the many ways to win in life, but am sure of this one way to loss in life and that is by hiding from life challenges and desiring to break even with life. Running away from challenges is a mediocre mentality. Life challenges are not meant to ruin us, they are a gateway to our new level. Embrace challenges and you are on your way to the top.
